RevaFlex Paving can be applied on a variety of old, cracked surfaces to create a strong, long-lasting surface. Two installation approaches are available: on an existing surface or using a compacted aggregate base.
Schluter trim creates a closed edge along RevaFlex Paving surfaces and can be purchased in a variety of finishes. It also acts as a guide to maintain 1/2 inch thickness.
A vanishing edge requires additional preparation. Grass and dirt are pulled back prior to installation, then placed back after the surface has fully cured.
Grinding around objects and edges may be completed prior to installation to ensure RevaFlex Paving can be installed flush and helps prevent tripping hazards.
RevaFlex is a rubber surfacing system used on wet-deck and pedestrian areas. It creates a seamless, textured finish designed to improve traction and comfort on spaces like pool decks, patios, and walkways.
It’s made from rubber granules mixed on site with a binder. That blend is placed and troweled by a certified installer to form a continuous rubber surfacing layer.
Homeowners use it for pool decks and outdoor living areas. Property managers use it for common walkways, entry zones, and other pedestrian spaces where traction and comfort matter.
The base is prepared and stabilized, then the rubber mix is made on site and troweled in place. The finish texture and thickness are controlled during installation so it performs correctly and looks consistent.
Many RevaFlex rubber surfacing projects can be walked on after about 24 hours. Some installations may take longer depending on thickness, weather, and the area being coated.
RevaFlex is installed with a textured finish intended to improve traction in wet-deck environments. Like any outdoor surface, routine cleaning matters, especially around pools where sunscreen, body oils, and organic buildup can reduce grip over time.
There are standard color blends, and custom mixes are also available. The best choice depends on sun exposure, surrounding hardscape colors, and whether you want a subtle or higher-contrast look.
RevaFlex products are designed for outdoor exposure and everyday spills. For driveways and vehicle areas, RevaFlex Paving is the correct system. Prompt cleanup is still recommended for any surface to help prevent staining.
RevaFlex can be installed over many solid substrates like concrete and asphalt. For certain paving applications, it can also be installed over a properly prepared compacted crushed-stone base.
Yes. RevaFlex rubber surfacing can be installed indoors or outdoors when the base is stable and the application is a good fit.
If you want a safer, more comfortable surface around your pool, patio, or walkways, RevaFlex rubber surfacing is a strong option. For driveways and vehicle traffic, RevaFlex Paving is the better fit.
