Behind every AmVet project is a story of service and dedication. Co-owner Troy was born in Petersburg, Illinois, and joined the U.S. Air Force straight out of high school. Over his 33-year career, he worked as a jet engine mechanic and production controller, earning multiple Commendation and Service medals along the way. After retiring in 2018, he settled in Merritt Island with his wife, Candice, and their three sons.
